ARAM’S DESIGN is an independent spatial design practice based in Washington State, working across residential interiors, hospitality, exterior design, and landscape.

We approach every project as a complete environment. Architecture, interior, material, light, landscape, and identity are considered together, not as separate layers. The goal is not to repeat a recognizable style from one project to another, but to uncover the character that could belong only to that place.

We are drawn to contrast: raw and refined, old and new, quiet and expressive. Existing conditions are not treated simply as limitations. They often become the starting point for the strongest decisions. A material may be exposed rather than concealed. An imperfect view may lead to a more immersive interior. A traditional structure may be preserved while its experience is completely reimagined.

The studio was founded by Aram Karapetian, a designer with an architectural background and a hands-on understanding of how ideas move from concept to reality. His work spans spatial planning, interior and exterior design, visualization, custom elements, material development, and coordination throughout construction.

Every decision is made with intention, from the overall atmosphere of a space to the way two materials meet. The process is collaborative, direct, and grounded in the belief that a project should not only look compelling in images, but feel natural, functional, and memorable to the people who experience it.
